It's a GREAT time to be a Cardinal!

Welcome to the Staples-Motley School District - we are so pleased you are visiting our website. We are extremely proud of the many learning opportunities that are provided for our students such as: Connections High School, which is a “project-based” program within our high school. State standards are met through hands-on projects by the students, minus the bells of a regular high school. Staples-Motley High School offers College in the Schools Courses taught by our excellent staff who offer classes in: Algebra, Calculus, Chemistry; Computers; Accounting; Medical Terminology; Basic Nursing; Comp I & II; Biology; Business; Government; Literature; Chemistry; Physics and Spanish 3 & 4.  We also offer a wide array of Bridges Career Academies offered by Central Lakes College and several online courses.

New this year to all grade levels is Tech Mobile, which will offer our students hands-on learning opportunities with high tech equipment such as:  Legos; laser engravers; 3D printers; welders; robotics and drones.

Many of our students are active participants in our excellent music program. Last year our band director was Minnesota Music Teacher of the Year and our orchestra was Orchestra Program of the Year! That’s right! We have an orchestra program! When a school our size has one of the best orchestras in the state of Minnesota, it shows the commitment this school district and community has for our fine arts programs. In addition, we have many other high quality activities that make Staples-Motley a great place that, “empowers all students to achieve the social growth and academic success necessary to become productive students in a changing world.”
